Elmira Stove Works, industry-leading manufacturer of “circa-1850” and retro 1950s appliances, continues its commitment to unique designs partnered with high quality appliances. Moving into 2012, Elmira is introducing three new products to accompany its broad selection of antique and retro appliances, including the Northstar Wall Oven, Northstar Microwave and Northstar Double-Drawer Refrigerator Panel Kit.
“These new products allow our customers a lot more flexibility in terms of how they cook with our appliances and how they fit our retro styling into the specific layout of their kitchen or bar area,” stated Brian Hendrick, Vice-President of Elmira Stove Works.
Retailing for $2995, the Northstar Wall Oven offers 4.1 cubic feet of capacity, electric self-cleaning, convection, and can be installed in wall cabinets or an island. The new Northstar Microwave model retails for $699. This new product is 33 percent larger (inside) and 20 percent more powerful than its previous model. Although it does not have the convection and grill features, the microwave comes with plenty of options including sensor reheat, Inverter® turbo defrost, and a quick-minute button to make cooking a breeze. The 1948 model double-drawer fridge panel kit fits the KitchenAid double-drawer units, and retails at $499. The KitchenAid units can be two refrigerator drawers, two freezer drawers or a combination of one fridge and one freezer drawer. The double-drawer freezer/fridge is ideal for bar space or extra kitchen capacity.
All three products are available in the nine different colors of the Northstar palette. In addition, for a personalized look, customers can custom-color any Northstar appliances to suit their own tastes.
The Northstar Collection also offers two full sized retro-styled refrigerators, plus an apartment / bar sized model; ranges in gas, electric and dual fuel; splashbacks, microwaves, dishwasher panels, and range hoods. With chrome trim, bright colors and smooth lines, the Northstar line instantly creates a retro transformation offering a quick and easy remodeling option. These nostalgic appliances offer 21st century functionality and convenience. And, despite their “retro” styling, their beautiful lines and colors fit beautifully into any contemporary kitchen.
