PRODUCT WARRANTY

Appliances are warranted by Elmira Stove Works for the time periods as noted below, to be free from defects in material and workmanship. Elmira Stove Works warrants to replace or repair free of charge any parts which become defective during these periods. It also warrants to provide fair service labour rates to install the warranted parts during the first year (Fireview cookstoves excluded). Glass, light bulbs, enamel, porcelain coatings, copper plating, nickel plating and fire bricks are not covered by the warranty.

Our appliances are not mass-produced; they are individually handcrafted using many of the materials and techniques used in the creation of authentic vintage appliances. Appliances are thoroughly inspected. Should you discover a very minor ‘blemish’, it is a mark of the authenticity of our craftsmanship and materials. It will not affect the functionality of your appliance.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The warranty applies only for residential use, in the country of purchase. The appliance must be installed in accordance to the product manual, and local building and safety codes. Abuse, accident, alteration, misuse, improper maintenance, or exposure to corrosive substances may void the warranty.

Neither Elmira Stove Works nor its agents or dealers are liable for any damages or claims resulting from failure of the appliance, or from service delays beyond their control.

Parts replaced or repaired through the warranty are warranted for the balance of the original warranty period.

The warranty does not cover any cost of making the appliance readily available and accessible for service, and does not cover labour performed at overtime or premium rates.

Cookstoves

  • 2 years, parts only (glass and fire brick not covered)

Dishwashers

  • 1 year, parts and labor

The Elmira Stove Works four-year extended warranty provides you with a total of five years coverage for parts and labour in the event your appliance requires repair or replacement.

We'll fix it or replace it.

Don't get stuck with costly repairs if the unexpected happens to your appliance. Elmira StoveWorks will take care of important repairs.

Benefits:

  • You'll never pay for parts and labour during the period of the extended warranty – we'll cover the costs of parts and repair.
  • If your major appliance stops working, we'll have a servicer diagnosis and repair it.
  • If your fridge or freezer stops cooling, we'll reimburse up to $300 for spoiled food.
  • If your appliance requires more than 3 major repairs, we'll replace it.
  • If we are unable to provide service for your appliance, we’ll replace it.
  • If a shelf, knob, or rack doesn't fit right anymore due to normal wear and tear, we'll replace it.
